Christo Kasabov is a freelance artist based in Toronto, Canada with years of international presence on the art stage and works showcased and sold at individual shows and group exhibitions in Canada, the US and Europe. He graduated from the National Art School in Sofia (1974-1978) and the National Art Academy (MFA 1980-1986). 

 

He creates original contemporary fine art in the style of figurative surrealism. The artworks have rich in color surface and acrylic impasto elements. Carved symbols and words are incorporated into the layers of realistic and surrealistic artistic implementation.  

The structure, shape and composition of the paintings reflect his philosophy, aesthetic, artistic style and feelings. His works are inspired by the beauty of human bodies and the contrast of their inner psychological tensions exposed in a surreal space.
